TSS-C

• Features Pre-Collision System (PCS)
• Lane Departure Alert
• Automatic High Beam.

TSS-P

• Pre-Collision System (PCS) with pedestrian detection in certain situations.
• Dynamic Cruise Control (DDRC) (Operation from 40km/h - 180km/h)
• Lane Departure Alert w/ Steering Assist (available on certain Models)
• Automatic High-Beams (AHB)
• Toyota models which include TSS P: 4Runner, Tacoma & Sequoia.

 

TSS 2.0

• Pre-Collision System (PCS) with daytime and lowlight pedestrian and vehicle detection, plus daytime bicycle detection.
• Full Speed Dynamic Cruise Control (DDRC). This system provide vehicle-to-vehicle speed control all the way down to 0km/h.
• Lane Departure Alert w/ Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection
• Lane Trace assist (LTA). This system works to keep the vehicle centred in the lane when visible lane markings are present.
• Automatic High-Beams (AHB)
• Toyota models which include TSS 2.0: Prius, Prius Prime, Corolla HB, Corolla Sedan, C-HR, Corolla Cross, Rav4, Rav4 Prime, Venza, & Sienna.

 

 

TSS2.5+

• Pre-Collision System (PCS) with daytime and lowlight pedestrian detection & daytime bicycle detection, intersection support & emergency steering assist
• Full Speed Dynamic Cruise Control (DDRC) with curve speed management. This system will analyze whether the vehicle will increase or decrease speed when approaching a curve.
• Lane Departure Alert w/ Steering Assist and Road Edge Detection
• Lane Tracing Assist with Enhanced Line & Road Recognition. Improved over TSS-P, the system now continues operation when lane markings are temporarily unavailable.
• Automatic High-Beams (AHB)
• Toyota models which include TSS 2.5+: Camry, Highlander & Tundra

 

TSS 3.0

Some of the notable features included in Toyota Safety SenseTM 3.0 are:

•  Pre-Collision System (PCS): This system is equipped with several enhancements, including detection capabilities for pedestrians, bicycles, motorcycles, and vehicles approaching from the front. It also incorporates features for detecting oncoming vehicles during left turns and oncoming pedestrians during both left and right turns, with corresponding braking assistance.
•  Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management: This feature not only maintains a set speed but also adjusts the vehicle's speed to match the curve of the road, enhancing safety and comfort during highway driving.
• Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist: Designed to prevent unintentional lane departures, this system provides alerts and can even provide gentle steering assistance to help keep the vehicle within its lane.
• Automatic High Beams: This feature automatically switches between high and low beams based on detected traffic conditions, improving visibility for both the driver and other road users.
• Lane Tracing Assist: Working in conjunction with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, this feature helps keep the vehicle centered in its lane by providing steering assistance based on lane markings and the position of preceding vehicles.
