The ninth-generation Camry features the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS 5) paired with a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine, delivering 225 net combined horsepower on Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) models and 232 HP on Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) models.

For the first time, the Camry hybrid offers available Electronic On-Demand AWD across three Canadian grades: SE Upgrade, XSE, and XLE. The AWD system, featuring a dedicated rear electric motor, provides additional traction in adverse weather, during acceleration, or dynamic driving. The Camry's hybrid powertrain boasts remarkable fuel efficiency, with ratings of 4.9L/100km (City/Highway/Combined) for FWD models and 5.1-5.5L/100km for AWD models.

The Camry's suspension has been returned for enhanced responsiveness and agile handling.
